Game Notes

• Had the game-winning field goal as time expired. This marked his first buzzer-beater at any level of his playing career. It also marked the first basket with no time left to win a NCAA Tournament game since Matt Howard (Butler vs. Old Dominion in 2011; courtesy ESPN Stats). This marked the second true buzzer beater in a NCAA Tournament game in the Rick Barnes era (Kenton Paulino hit a 3-pointer in a 2006 Regional Semifinal in Atlanta to beat West Virginia, 74-71).• Registered his 10th double-double of the season and 11th of his career with 17 points and 12 rebounds (67 games).

• Reached double figures in scoring for the 20th time this season and 22nd time in his career.

• Reached double figures in rebounding for the 12th time this season and 15th time in his career.

• Also posted a game-high four blocked shots (12th time he has recorded at least three blocks this season).
